Job Title: CIW Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home
Location: Hollywell, Flintshire, Wales
Salary: £50,000–£65,000 (experience dependent) + performance bonuses
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CIW Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential home in Hollywell. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a safe, nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the children’s residential home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for young people.
- Drive compliance with CIW regulatory standards and maintain outstanding inspection results.
- Lead safeguarding initiatives and develop individualised care plans for children with complex needs.
- Manage staff recruitment, supervision, and ongoing training to ensure high-quality care delivery.
- Collaborate with external agencies, families, and stakeholders to support young people's wellbeing and development.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care practices, implementing improvements as needed.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Leadership & Management in Health and Social Care (or actively working towards it).
- Eligibility for CIW Registered Manager registration.
- Proven experience in managing children’s residential services, particularly with complex EBD needs.
- Strong understanding of CIW standards, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
