Job Title: Children’s Home Manager (Registered Manager / Deputy Manager)
Location: Liverpool, Merseyside, United Kingdom
Salary: Up to £60,000 (DOE)

Job Description:
Are you an experienced Children’s Home Manager ready to lead a team and make a real difference? This Children’s Home Manager role in Liverpool is open to both Deputy Managers looking for the next step and experienced Registered Managers joining a forward-thinking provider. The service is currently rated Good by OFSTED, and you’ll work closely with the Responsible Individual (RI) to ensure the home remains compliant and child-focused.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead as a Children’s Home Manager in Liverpool, ensuring the safe and effective management of the children’s home
• Support children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours, promoting positive outcomes
• Work with the RI to maintain compliance with OFSTED and company standards
• Manage safeguarding concerns in line with relevant policies and procedures
• Recruit, develop and supervise the staff team to ensure consistent, high-quality care
• Oversee the home’s budget and contribute to effective service delivery
• Ensure day-to-day practice reflects a nurturing, child-centred approach

Requirements:

• Experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager (Children’s Home Manager experience in Liverpool is essential)
• Level 5 qualification in leadership and management
• Level 3 qualification in children and young people
• Full driving licence
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and OFSTED compliance expectations
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team to deliver safe, effective support
