Salary: £53,558 per annum, based on 40 hours per week, with a 9-day fortnight

Key Responsibilities:
As a Children’s Home Manager based in Barnstaple, your daily duties will include:

• Managing recruitment, team supervisions, meetings, and inspections to ensure high standards of care.
• Supporting children to have the best quality of life by organising activities, outings, and holidays.
• Ensuring children’s safety and developing personalised care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Overseeing health, safety, and risk assessments, as well as budget management and contributing to the on-call rota.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Children’s Home Manager, you will need:

• A Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a similar children’s care setting.
• Patience, compassion, resilience, and excellent communication skills.
• A full UK driving licence, as the role involves community outings.
• Flexibility to undertake various tasks, including health and safety responsibilities.
