Key Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people in their daily activities and interests
- Promote independence and well-being for children with EBD and challenging behaviours
- Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips with the children
- Support children in weekend and evening activities, from climbing to baking and outdoor adventures
- Protect children from risks to their health and welfare
- Provide emotional and practical support within the home
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of care plans and safety guidelines
- Assist in managing and minimising challenging behaviours
Requirements:
- A genuine desire to support vulnerable children and young people
- Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
- Some professional or personal experience in a social care setting
- Right to work in the UK
- A valid driving licence is essential
- Relevant qualifications are welcome
- Must be over the age of 21
