Key Responsibilities:

Maintain high standards of care and safety for young people
Develop and oversee individual care plans tailored to each young person's needs
Mentor and support junior staff members
Safeguard the welfare and promote the development of children and young people
Liaise with professionals, families, and external agencies to ensure coordinated support
Manage behaviour effectively and safely
Handle healthcare and administrative duties as required
Participate in on-call and sleep-in rotas to provide continuous support

Requirements:

Proven experience in support work, with some leadership background
Strong safeguarding knowledge and excellent communication skills
Ability to motivate and support a team
Proactive, organised, and dependable
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, bank holidays, on-call, and sleep-ins
