Job Description:
Are you a dedicated and experienced Children's Residential Support Worker looking for an exciting opportunity in Minehead, Somerset? Our client, a leading healthcare organisation committed to providing high-quality care and support for young people, is seeking a motivated Support Worker to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

Maintain high standards of care and safety for young people
Develop and oversee individual care plans tailored to each young person
Mentor and support junior staff members
Safeguard the welfare and promote the development of children and young people
Liaise effectively with professionals, families, and external agencies
Manage behaviour effectively and safely
Handle healthcare and administrative duties as required
Participate in on-call and sleep-in rotas to ensure continuous support

Requirements:

Proven experience in support work, with some leadership or supervisory background
Strong safeguarding knowledge and excellent communication skills
Ability to motivate and support a team effectively
Proactive, organised, and dependable approach to work
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, bank holidays, on-call, and sleep-ins
