Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people.
- Deliver therapeutic care tailored to each child's individual needs.
- Act as a positive role model, supporting children with their daily routines and activities.
- Organise and participate in fun outings such as theme parks, fishing trips, football, and hiking.
- Offer emotional and physical support to help children reach their full potential, even in challenging situations.
- Build trusting relationships and foster friendships with the children.
- Empower children to make decisions about their lives and support their independence.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Mental Health Support Worker, SEN Teaching Assistant, or similar role.
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to making a difference.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training and qualifications.
