Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people.
- Deliver therapeutic care tailored to each child's individual needs.
- Act as a positive role model, supporting children with their daily living activities.
- Organise and participate in fun activities such as theme parks, fishing, football, and hiking.
- Offer emotional and physical support to help children reach their full potential, even in challenging situations.
- Build trusting relationships and foster friendships with the children.
- Empower children to make decisions about their lives and encourage independence.
- Support children in developing life skills and confidence through everyday tasks.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
- Passion for caring for children and young people with complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shift patterns, including 7 on 7 off, with alternative shifts available.
- Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
