Salary: £24,784 – £30,325 per annum (inclusive of sleeps paid at £50 per sleep)

Job Description:
Residential Care Worker opportunities are available within an Ofsted-inspected children’s home in Rugeley, Staffordshire. This is a hands-on role supporting young people to thrive in a safe, stable, and nurturing environment, with ongoing training and development provided.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Residential Care Worker based in Rugeley, your daily duties will include:
- Supporting young people with daily routines, including education, activities, and personal development
- Building positive, professional relationships and acting as a consistent, trusted adult
- Promoting a safe, supportive living environment and contributing to a calm home culture
- Managing and responding to challenging behaviours in a calm, consistent manner
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality care in Rugeley, Staffordshire
- Contributing to care plans, reports, and accurate record-keeping
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Residential Care Worker, you will need:
- NVQ Level 3 or Level 4 in Children’s Residential Care (or working towards / willing to undertake)
- Experience supporting children or young people in a similar setting (desirable, not essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual or automatic)
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
- A resilient, patient, and proactive approach, with the ability to follow guidance from senior staff
