Job Title: Children’s Residential Support Worker

Salary: £32,304 - £35,305 per annum (including sleep-ins)

We are seeking dedicated Children’s Residential Support Workers to join a leading specialist provider in Warminster. This role offers an engaging environment where no two days are the same, supporting young people aged 8–18 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). As a Children’s Residential Support Worker based in Warminster, your daily duties will include:
- Supporting young people to participate in activities and develop independence suitable to their age.
- Maintaining a safe, warm, and homely environment.
- Safely managing challenging behaviours with empathy and professionalism.
- Protecting and supporting children’s health, welfare, and wellbeing.
- Liaising with parents, social workers, and other professionals involved in the young people's care.
- Supporting young people to develop life skills and confidence.
- Keeping care plans and communication preferences up-to-date.
To be successful as a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will need:
- Level 3 Children & Young People’s Workforce qualification (desirable).
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in residential or similar settings.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (sleep allowance included).
- Over the age of 21.
- Reliable, compassionate, and motivated to support young people on their journey to independence.
