Salary: £31,279 - £33,705 per annum (inclusive of sleeps)

We are seeking dedicated Children's Support Workers to join a reputable children’s residential service in Spalding, Lincolnshire. This role involves working closely with young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours, within a supportive team environment committed to providing exceptional care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Children's Support Worker based in Spalding, your daily duties will include:
- Supporting children and young people in their day-to-day activities, promoting independence and well-being.
- Attending trips, holidays, and activities such as swimming and outings to enrich their social experiences.
- Ensuring the safety and welfare of young people by following care plans and safeguarding guidelines.
- Providing emotional and practical support, helping children manage challenging behaviours with compassion and understanding.
- Assisting with behaviour management strategies to minimise incidents and promote positive development.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Children's Support Worker, you will need:
- A genuine desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
- An empathetic, caring, and resilient nature.
- Some experience in a social care or support work setting, ideally with children or young people.
- The right to work in the UK.
- A full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
- Relevant qualifications are welcomed but not mandatory; willingness to undertake training is important.
- Over the age of 21.
