We are seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our children’s residential care team in Newtown, Powys. Key Responsibilities:
As a Residential Support Worker based in Newtown, Powys, your daily duties will include:
- Providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.
- Engaging children in activities such as arts and crafts, outdoor games, and other recreational pursuits to promote development and well-being.
- Supporting children with their individual care plans, ensuring their safety, rights, and participation are upheld.
- Working flexible shift patterns, including sleep-in duties, to ensure continuous care coverage.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Residential Support Worker, you will need:
- A full manual UK driving licence.
- Ability to work shift patterns of 3 on 6 off or 2 on 4 off, including sleep-in shifts.
- An energetic and compassionate approach, with the ability to work in a fast-paced residential environment.
- A genuine interest in working with children and young people, with a positive and approachable attitude.
