We are recruiting a Children's Residential Support Worker to join a children’s residential care service in Newtown, Powys. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people in a structured, nurturing home environment, working within a values-led team focused on safety, consistency, and positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Children's Residential Support Worker based in Newtown, your daily duties will include:

• Providing safe, person-centred support to children and young people within a residential care setting
• Building positive, professional relationships and promoting routines, boundaries, and emotional well-being
• Supporting engagement in meaningful activities (e.g., arts and crafts, outdoor play, community-based experiences)

Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful as a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will need:

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence
• Experience supporting children/young people in a residential, care, or support setting (or strong transferable experience)
• Enhanced DBS Check (and the ability to provide satisfactory references)

• £28,632.24 - £31,253.04 per annum (including sleep-ins) with sleep-in payments included within the package
• Shift patterns such as 3 on / 6 off or 2 on / 4 off (including sleep-ins)
• Training and development (including funded qualifications such as NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care)
