Salary: £13.50 – £14.00 per hour + £70 per sleep-in
Job Description:
We are recruiting for a Children’s Support Worker in Worksop, Nottinghamshire to join a brand-new, 2-bedded residential service supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This Children’s Support Worker role is ideal for someone who wants to help shape a service from day one, as the home prepares for Ofsted registration with a target launch in September.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for two young people
- Support daily routines, including cooking, life skills, and education support
- De-escalate challenging behaviours and provide emotional support
- Maintain accurate daily logs and contribute to progress reports
- Work flexibly across evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins as required
Requirements:
- Experience in care, youth work, residential support, or a similar challenging environment
- Full flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm during difficult moments
- Commitment to safeguarding, professionalism, and consistent record-keeping
