Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated Children's Residential Support Workers to join our client's 4-bed residential service in Liverpool, Merseyside.

This role involves providing high-quality care and support to children and young people aged 7-17 years with moderate to severe emotional and behavioural difficulties, including those with challenging behaviours. Join us in making a positive difference in their everyday lives within our Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ residential services.


Key Responsibilities:
As a Children's Residential Support Worker based in Liverpool, your daily duties will include:

  • Acting as a Key Worker for children and young people, ensuring personalised care and support.
  • Developing engaging programmes and creating warm, stimulating experiences, including out-of-unit activities such as holidays.
  • Planning, preparing, and facilitating group activities tailored to different ages and abilities.
  • Working flexibly across shifts, 15 hour day shifts with sleep-ins

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will need:

  • A recognised qualification such as a Diploma in Residential Child Care / NVQ Level 3 Children and Young People
  • Recent experience working in a childcare residential environment
  • Strong observation and assessment skills, with a positive attitude towards challenge.
  • Dedication to creating a safe, stimulating environment for children and young people.
  • Supportive, adaptable, and creative qualities to thrive in a dynamic setting.
  • A Car Driver is essential for these roles
