We are recruiting for a Children's Support Worker to join a specialist residential care service in Welshpool, Powys. This is a values-led setting focused on providing consistent, therapeutic support to young people, with strong team collaboration and clear leadership.
Key Responsibilities
As a Children's Support Worker based in Welshpool, your daily duties will include:
- Providing safe, consistent care and day-to-day support to young people within a structured residential environment
- Building positive relationships, acting as a role model, and supporting routines, wellbeing, and personal development
- Supporting safeguarding practice and maintaining clear, healthy boundaries through calm communication and teamwork
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Children's Support Worker, you will need:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good basic English and IT communication skills
