Residential Child Care Workers | Skelmersdale

Are you looking for a role where you can truly focus on the progress of one young person? We are opening a solo residential home in Skelmersdale and are looking for dedicated, empathetic, and resilient Support Workers to join our founding team.
In this unique setting, you will work in a 2:1 staff-to-child ratio, ensuring the highest level of support, safety, and therapeutic care.
The Shift Pattern
We understand the importance of work-life balance. This role follows a "2 on, 4 off" rolling roster.

Work: 2 consecutive days (including sleep-ins).

Rest: 4 consecutive days off.

This pattern allows you to decompress fully and provides a consistent environment for the young person.
Competitive Pay Structure

Unqualified RSW: £13.00 per hour

Qualified RSW (Level 3/4): £14.00 per hour

Senior RSW: £15.00 per hour

Sleep-in Allowance: £70.00 per night

What We Are Looking For

Experience: Previous experience in residential childcare is preferred, but we offer a path for Unqualified RSWs who have the right heart and attitude.

Maintaining detailed logs and reports regarding the young person's progress.
