Job Title: Children's Support Worker
Location: Cwmbran, Torfaen, UK
Salary: £14.24 - £28.48 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Key Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people in their daily activities and interests
- Promote independence and wellbeing of young residents
- Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips with children, including activities like climbing, baking, and weekends at holiday parks
- Protect children from health and welfare risks
- Provide emotional and practical support within the home
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of care plans and guidelines
- Support and help minimise challenging behaviour incidents
Requirements:
- At least 6 months experience working with children or within a similar social care setting
- Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
- Restraint training (TMVA) certification or willingness to undergo a 3-day course
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
