Job Title: Children's Support Worker
Location: Cwmbran, Torfaen, UK
Salary: £14.24 - £28.48 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support children and young people in their daily activities and interests
• Promote independence and wellbeing of young residents
• Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips with children, including activities like climbing, baking, and weekends at holiday parks
• Protect children from health and welfare risks
• Provide emotional and practical support within the home
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of care plans and guidelines
• Support and help minimise challenging behaviour incidents

Requirements:

• At least 6 months experience working with children or within a similar social care setting
• Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
• Restraint training (TMVA) certification or willingness to undergo a 3-day course
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
• Right to work in the UK
