Salary: £14.24 - £26.76 per hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children and young people in their daily activities and interests
  • Promote independence and overall wellbeing of young residents
  • Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips with children and young people
  • Support children in weekend and evening activities, from outdoor adventures to leisure outings
  • Protect children from risks to their health and welfare
  • Provide emotional and practical support tailored to individual needs
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of care plans and safety guidelines
  • Assist in managing challenging behaviour and minimise incidents

Requirements:

  • Genuine desire to create positive outcomes for children and young people
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
  • Minimum of 6 months experience working with children or within a social care environment
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • Right to work in the UK
