Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker
Location: Caerphilly, Wales, UK
Salary: £14.24 - £28.48 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Key Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people with daily activities and interests
- Promote independence and overall wellbeing of young residents
- Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips with children, including activities like climbing, baking, or trips to Butlins
- Ensure the safety and welfare of children by following care plans and guidelines
- Provide emotional and practical support to young people
- Minimise and manage challenging behaviour effectively
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of individual care plans and safety procedures
Requirements:
- A genuine desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
- Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
- At least 6 months’ experience working with children or within a social care setting
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
