Key Responsibilities
As a Children's Residential Support Worker based in Crediton, your daily duties will include:

• Supporting children and young people with daily routines, activities, and interests
• Promoting independence, confidence, and overall wellbeing within the home setting in Crediton
• Providing emotional and practical support, including during challenging situations and behaviours
• Following care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures to ensure safety and welfare
• Attending trips and activities (e.g., weekends away, holidays, outings) to support positive experiences

Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will need:

• At least 6 months’ experience working with children/young people or within a similar social care setting
• A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
• An empathetic, caring, and resilient approach
• Full UK driving licence
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
• Right to work in the UK
