Job Title: Children's Residential Activity Worker – Supporting Young People with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties
Location: Bishops Castle, Shropshire
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum (including sleep-in rate)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Children's Residential Activity Worker to support young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in a caring and dynamic environment. Based in Bishops Castle, Shropshire, this role offers a rewarding chance to help young people develop socially, emotionally, and behaviorally while engaging in fun and meaningful activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Support young people in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, ensuring they feel safe and cared for.
- Engage, encourage, and mentor young people through various activities and daily routines.
- Promote social, emotional, and behavioural development in a supportive setting.
- Assist with transporting young people as required, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and participate in training and development programs.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Children's Support Worker, working with Young People, or other social care experience (desirable).
- Must be a car driver, as transportation of young people is required.
- Must be over the age of 22 (essential).
- NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Children & Young People (desirable).
- Enthusiastic, resilient, and committed to making a difference.
- Ability to engage and motivate young people in a caring manner.
