Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to oversee a 2-bedded learning disabilities (LD) home in Bury. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the learning disabilities home in Bury
- Lead and motivate a team of care staff to deliver exceptional person-centered care
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards
- Assist in staff training, supervision, and development
- Contribute to care planning and review processes for residents in Bury
- Maintain accurate documentation and records
- Support children and young people, meeting OFSTED standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a children's setting, ideally with learning disabilities
- Leadership skills with the ability to support and develop a team
- Knowledge of OFSTED regulations and compliance standards
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work a mixture of on and off-shift patterns, including approximately one sleep shift per week
- Relevant care qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) is preferred
