Salary: £34,340 - £41,000 per annum (Inclusive of 4 - 10 sleeps per month)

Our client, a leading specialist provider, is looking for a Deputy Manager to join their team in Shrewsbury. As Deputy Manager, you will assist the Registered Manager in overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional care. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the children’s residential home in Shrewsbury
- Supervise and lead staff to ensure high standards of care and support
- Assist with administrative tasks and casework records management
- Deliver a safe, nurturing environment that promotes the well-being of children and young people
- Lead by example, inspiring the team to provide person-centred care
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organisational policies
Requirements:
- Previous supervisory or management experience within a children’s residential setting in Shrewsbury or nearby
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care for Children and Young People
- Willingness to attain a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or equivalent
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Passionate about improving the lives of children and young people with EBD
- Ability to work flexibly on a rotational basis, including sleep-ins in Shrewsbury
