Are you a passionate and experienced children’s care professional looking to make a meaningful difference? We are partnering with a leading specialist provider to recruit a dynamic Children’s Home Manager for a brand-new children’s home in Hull. This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape a new residential service supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.
As the Children’s Home Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and running this innovative service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the Responsible Individual (RI) to set up and effectively manage the new home
- Leading the recruitment, training, and development of a dedicated staff team
- Registering with OFSTED as the registered manager and ensuring compliance with all OFSTED and company standards
- Overseeing referrals to ensure the home provides the best possible support for each child
- Managing budgets to deliver financial sustainability and resource allocation
- Ensuring the service maintains high-quality care standards and continuous improvement
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager within an OFSTED-regulated children’s home
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or working towards it
- Valid driving license
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for child safeguarding and person-centered care
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
