Job Title: Children's Registered Manager – Residential Care Home

Salary: Up to £65,000 + bonuses
Job Description:
Our client, a leading specialist provider in OFSTED-regulated children's residential care, is seeking an experienced Children's Registered Manager to oversee a residential care home in Oldham. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated team and make a positive impact on young people's lives. The Children's Registered Manager will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, maintaining OFSTED standards, and managing all aspects of the residential service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hold OFSTED registration for the children's home and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
- Manage the residential service, providing expert support to young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
- Recruit, develop, and manage a team of deputies, team leaders, and support workers in collaboration with HR
- Oversee daily operations, including staff management, quality assurance, and budget control
- Work closely with senior management to implement company policies and procedures
- Ensure the service meets OFSTED standards and maintains excellent inspection outcomes
- Manage quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives
- Handle on-call duties as part of a full-time, Monday to Friday schedule
Requirements:
- Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager within a children's residential setting
- Strong knowledge of OFSTED regulations and standards
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to manage budgets and ensure high-quality service delivery
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
