Job Title: Children's Registered Manager – Residential Care Home

Job Description:
Our client, a leading specialist provider in OFSTED-regulated children's residential care, is seeking an experienced Children's Registered Manager to oversee a residential care home in Oldham. This is a vital role for a dedicated professional committed to providing high-quality support to young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). The Children's Registered Manager will ensure the delivery of exceptional care standards, compliance with OFSTED regulations, and effective team leadership within a supportive and progressive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hold OFSTED registration for the children's home and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Manage the residential service, providing expert support to young people with EBD.
- Recruit, develop, and manage a team of deputies, team leaders, and support workers, working closely with the HR team.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring high standards of care and safety.
- Work with senior management to implement company policies and procedures.
- Manage quality assurance processes and ensure continuous improvement.
- Oversee the service budget and ensure financial efficiency.
- Maintain strong relationships with external agencies and stakeholders.
- Work full-time, Monday to Friday, with on-call duties as required.
Requirements:
- Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager within a children's residential setting.
- Strong knowledge of OFSTED regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a regulated environment and ensure compliance.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
