Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Home Manager to lead a children’s residential service in Preston. This is an excellent opportunity for Deputy Managers aspiring to take the next step in their career or for seasoned Registered Managers looking to join a forward-thinking organization. The Children's Home Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective management of the home, supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours. The role offers a chance to make a positive impact on young lives while working within a supportive and compliant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the children's home, ensuring high standards of care and safety.
• Support children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours, promoting positive outcomes.
• Work closely with the Responsible Individual (RI) to ensure OFSTED and company standards are met and maintained.
• Manage safeguarding concerns promptly and effectively.
• Lead, manage, recruit, develop, and supervise the staff team, fostering a child-focused environment.
• Manage the home's budget to ensure financial efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements:

• Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
• Level 3 in Children and Young People.
• Valid Driving Licence.
• Deputy or Registered Manager experience in a children’s residential setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting positive outcomes for children and young people.
