Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Children's Home Manager to lead a brand new children's home in Blackburn.
This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for young people with EBD and challenging behaviours. As the Children's Home Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the service, ensuring compliance with OFSTED regulations and fostering a supportive team culture. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the children's home in Blackburn.
- Ensure the home is compliant with OFSTED regulations and company policies.
- Recruit, develop, and support staff to deliver high-quality care.
- Create a positive, nurturing environment for children and young people.
- Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and care planning processes.
- Maintain strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance service quality.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Deputy or Registered Children's Home Manager.
- Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
- Level 3 in Children and Young People.
- Valid driving license.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under OFSTED regulations and company policies.
