Are you an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager seeking a highly impactful leadership role?
A leading specialist provider is opening a new, single-bed children's home in Pudsey, Bradford, designed specifically for one young person with learning disabilities.
This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a therapeutic environment from the ground up, with full autonomy to tailor the space and care to meet the individual needs of the young person. The Registered Manager for this children's home will play a pivotal role in launching and managing this innovative service, ensuring exceptional standards of care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the complete setup and operational launch of the children's home in Pudsey.
- Develop and implement highly specialised, person-centred care plans tailored to the young person's needs.
- Recruit, train, and lead a small, dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding support.
- Oversee daily operations, manage budgets, and coordinate referrals efficiently.
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and maintain the highest safety and therapeutic standards.
- Collaborate with families, health professionals, and external agencies to provide holistic support.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager within a children's residential setting.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
- Valid UK driving license.
- Strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional care.
- Ability to work independently and manage all aspects of the service launch.
