Join a well-established Children’s Residential Service provider in Staffordshire as a Children's Home Registered Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a new 4-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) residential home in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire.
This role offers exceptional support and development for a Deputy Manager looking to progress, or a seasoned Registered Manager seeking a new opportunity within a smaller, child-centred organisation with a dedicated, close-knit leadership team.
We are looking for a passionate leader with strong managerial skills and direct experience in children's residential care.
Key Responsibilities of the Children's Home Registered Manager:

Service Quality: Maintain a high-quality residential service, collaborating with colleagues, stakeholders, and professionals.

Ofsted Compliance: Ensure an exceptional understanding and adherence to Ofsted regulations and standards.

Staff & Young Person Support: Provide comprehensive support to staff and young people within the home.

Safe Environment: Ensure the home provides a safe, nurturing, and homely environment.

Behaviour Management: Sympathetically manage challenging behaviours.

Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all development, training, and supervision policies.
Requirements:

Management Qualification: NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Children’s Services (ONLY).

Children & Young People Qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce.

Experience: Proven experience in a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager position within a residential children's home.

EBD Experience: Ideally, experience within an EBD residential setting.

Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and managerial capabilities.
