Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a Registered Manager to launch and lead a brand-new, therapeutic children's residential home for young people aged 7-18 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager—or an ambitious Deputy Manager ready to step up—to join a passionate management team and open a home from scratch. As the company plans to expand significantly, this role offers a clear path to Operations Management within the next 5 years, providing autonomy and influence from day one.
The ideal candidate will have the children's well-being and quality of care at the heart of their values, with a vision to inspire and support young people to lead successful lives.
Key Responsibilities

Provide inspirational leadership and management for all staff and residents.

Ensure the highest standards of care, support, and therapeutic delivery for young people aged 7-18.

Manage the home's operations in line with OFSTED regulations and company policies.

Lead the setting up and establishment of the new residential home.

Mentor and support staff to achieve excellent outcomes for young people.
Required Experience & Qualifications

NVQ/QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or currently working towards).

Minimum of 1 year experience in a Deputy or Registered Manager position within a children's residential setting.

Experience working with children and young people with EBD, Learning Disabilities, and/or challenging behaviours.

NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Services or equivalent.

Full UK driving license.
