Salary: Up to £50,000 per year (DOE)

Job Description:
An established specialist provider is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead the launch and operation of a new 3-bed children's residential home in Erdington, Birmingham. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader to create a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the service, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the home meets and exceeds all Ofsted standards and children's home regulations.
  • Manage daily operations, including administration and financial oversight.
  • Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop a small team of care professionals.
  • Foster a positive, child-centred culture for staff and residents.
  • Deliver high-quality, therapeutic care tailored to young people with EBD.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience within a children's residential setting, such as a current Deputy Manager or experienced Registered Manager.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and children's home standards.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and child-focused approach to care management.
  • Reliable commuting ability to Erdington, Birmingham.
