Are you a Children's Home Manager ready for a new challenge?
A highly successful and reputable provider of children's homes in Wales is expanding into Somerset. We're looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead this exciting new chapter. With a strong track record of creating outstanding, nurturing environments for young people, we are bringing our proven model of care to Bridgwater.
This is a unique opportunity to be the founding manager for two brand-new, high-quality homes. You will be fully supported by the Somerset Local Authority, who have committed to fast-tracking the registration process. With an additional two homes already pending purchase, this role is set for rapid career progression, quickly evolving into a more senior, multi-site management position.
What you'll be doing:
As a key part of our expansion, you will be instrumental in every stage of the setup and management of these new homes. Your role will include:
- Taking the lead on the Ofsted registration process.
- Recruiting, training, and building a dedicated team of staff.
- Ensuring the homes provide a safe, therapeutic, and enriching environment for children.
- Overseeing all daily operations, including budget management and compliance with regulations.
- Developing strong, positive relationships with local authorities and key stakeholders.
We are looking for someone with:
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children's residential setting.
- An excellent understanding of Ofsted regulations and a track record of achieving positive inspection outcomes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate a team.
- A proactive and autonomous approach to your work.
- A genuine passion for making a lasting difference in the lives of young people.
