Lead a Team, Change a Child's Life: Registered Manager Needed

The Role and Your Impact
As the Registered Manager, you will be the heart of the home, with overall responsibility for its daily operations and strategic direction. You will be instrumental in creating an environment where both staff and children feel secure and valued. Your main responsibilities will include:

Leading with Vision: Provide strong, visible leadership, inspiring your team to deliver exceptional, child-centered care in line with all Ofsted regulations and national quality standards.

Ensuring Safety: Uphold and embed robust safeguarding procedures to ensure the well-being and protection of every child in the home.

Driving Compliance: Take full accountability for all regulatory requirements, including preparing for and managing Ofsted inspections.

Championing Growth: Oversee the development and delivery of individualised care plans that are centred around the unique needs and aspirations of each child.

Team Development: Lead the recruitment, training, and supervision of a dedicated staff team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Strategic Oversight: Effectively manage budgets and resources, ensuring the financial sustainability of the home without compromising on the quality of care.

Building Partnerships: Cultivate strong working relationships with multi-agency partners, including social workers and other professionals.

On-Call Support: Be available for on-call support and emergencies as required, demonstrating calm and decisive leadership.
What We're Looking For

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of management experience in a children's residential home is required, including direct experience with Ofsted inspections.

Qualifications: You must hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).

Knowledge: An in-depth understanding of the Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and the Ofsted inspection framework is essential.

Licence: A full UK driving licence with business insurance is required.

Skills: Excellent report writing, organisational, and communication skills are a must, along with a talent for inspirational leadership and confident decision-making.
