Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational and experienced Registered Manager to lead a residential children's home dedicated to supporting children with disabilities. This role is perfect for a passionate leader committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child can flourish.

You will be responsible for the daily operations and strategic direction of the home, upholding the highest standards of care and making a profound difference in the lives of vulnerable children.


 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide strong and visible leadership for the home and its staff.

  • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and national quality standards.

  • Uphold robust safeguarding procedures to protect every child.

  • Manage and lead a dedicated team, including recruitment, training, and supervision.

  • Oversee the development and delivery of individualised care plans.

  • Effectively manage the home's budget and resources.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with multi-agency partners.

  • Provide on-call support and respond to emergencies as required.


 

Required Experience & Qualifications

 

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of management experience in a children's residential home.

  • Ofsted Experience: Direct experience with Ofsted inspections is required.

  • Qualifications: You must hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).

  • Licence: A full UK driving licence with business insurance is required.
