Are you a passionate and experienced Registered Manager ready to launch an outstanding, therapeutic children's home from the ground up?
Our valued client are on a mission to create high-quality, nurturing environments where every child feels safe, loved, and cared for. They are expanding their portfolio and are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to open and lead a brand-new home in Crediton.
This is a unique opportunity to build a service that truly reflects their core values. You will be instrumental in creating a positive, safe, and homely environment, working with a team trained to the highest standards to deliver an integrated, therapeutic approach.
Key Responsibilities

Launch and Register: Lead the entire process of registering and setting up a brand-new children’s home with Ofsted, ensuring it meets and exceeds all regulatory requirements.

Embrace Our Mission: Embed the core values and therapeutic philosophy, ensuring children are at the heart of all care and support.

Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a brand-new team of professionals to an incredibly high standard, ensuring all staff are trained in our PACE approach.

Operational Excellence: Manage all aspects of the home's daily operations, including compliance, safeguarding, budgets, and resources.

Therapeutic Care: Champion their integrated therapeutic approach, working collaboratively with their multidisciplinary partners, to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.

Safeguarding Expertise: Serve as the designated safeguarding lead for the home, ensuring the highest level of child protection and compliance with current best practice guidance.
What We're Looking For

Experience: Proven experience as a Registered Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up, with a clear understanding of children’s residential care.

Qualifications: You must hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or be working towards it).

Passion and Values: A genuine passion for the well-being of children and a philosophy that aligns with our clients mission of building trusting relationships and providing integrated therapeutic care.

Ofsted Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and a commitment to achieving and maintaining an outstanding rating.

Leadership Skills: A strong, compassionate, and inspiring leader with the resilience to build a new service from inception.

Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is essential.
