Salary: £33,600 - £34,800 + £4,000-£8,000 for sleep-ins
Job Description:
Are you an experienced children's residential care professional looking to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Home Manager to join a leading specialist provider in Letchworth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team, support young people, and ensure the delivery of high-quality therapeutic care in a safe and nurturing environment. The Deputy Home Manager in this position will play a vital role in maintaining compliance, fostering a positive team culture, and supporting the development of staff and young people alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor staff to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
- Act as a role model, promoting a positive and supportive environment for young people and staff.
- Oversee daily operations, including managing budgets, rotas, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding policies.
- Work flexibly, including shifts and sleep-ins, to meet the needs of the service.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Residential Children’s Care.
- NVQ Level 4 in Management or Childcare (or willingness to work towards).
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
