Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Care Workers to join a leading specialist provider of children’s residential care services in Derby (Mickleover / Littleover). This full-time role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide emotional support, guidance, and stability to children in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and encouraging environment
- Develop and implement individual care plans in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams
- Support children with their emotional, social, and developmental needs
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies
- Engage in daily activities and outings to promote positive development
- Work on an alternating week shift pattern including sleep-ins and on-call duties
Requirements:
- QCF Level 3 or 4 in Children, Young People & Families or NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in residential childcare
- A full UK driving license is essential
- Ability to reliably commute or relocate to Derby
- Strong communication and teamworking skills
- Compassionate approach and commitment to child welfare
