Children's Support Worker – Residential Children’s Home – Bewdley

Location: Bewdley
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 160 hours per month (2 days on, 4 days off rota)

Please note: Due to the nature of the role, candidates must hold a Full UK Driving Licence and be able to commute to Tewkesbury.
Key Responsibilities:
- Encourage and support young people to engage in activities and take responsibility for their lives
- Maintain a warm, homely, and safe environment in the residential setting
- Respond effectively to challenging behaviours with patience and empathy
- Protect young people from risks to their health and welfare
- Promote independence and well-being through tailored support
- Ensure the safety of all young people and keep care plans up to date
- Support positive behaviour management and development of life skills
- Build strong relationships with staff, families, social workers, and other professionals involved in the young people's lives
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as a Children’s Support Worker or in a related social care setting is desirable but not essential
- A caring, resilient, and motivated attitude
- Full UK Driving Licence (required for transporting young people)
- Over the age of 21 and able to commute to Tewkesbury
- Passionate about supporting young people through challenging times and making a real difference
