Our client is a leading specialist provider of children’s residential care, dedicated to supporting young people aged 14-17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).

Join a friendly, supportive team in a vibrant children’s residential service where your dedication can truly impact young lives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and welfare of young people by adhering to individual care plans, guidelines, and reward systems.
  • Support and manage challenging behaviours safely and sympathetically to maintain a secure environment.
  • Develop positive relationships with staff, families, social workers, and other professionals involved in young people's lives.
  • Protect children from risks to their health and safety, ensuring a protective environment.
  • Maintain the welcoming, friendly atmosphere of the home.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Experience working with children or young people in social care or related environments (desirable).
  • Must be a driver to enable transportation of young people when required (Essential).
  • Must be over 22 years old (Essential).
  • NVQ or QCF Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People is desirable.

The Benefits:

  • Competitive salary (£30,060 - £34,488) including sleep allowance.
  • Full-time, permanent contract with long day shifts and sleep-ins.
  • Free meals while on shift.
  • Casual dress code and a supportive team environment.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Access to discounts for shopping outlets, restaurants, and cinemas.
  • Comprehensive training and ongoing CPD opportunities to support your professional growth.
  • £1000 pay increase upon achieving QCF qualification.
  • Opportunities to maximise earnings and progress your career in children’s social care.
