An experienced and caring organisation is looking for dedicated Children’s Residential Support Workers to join their vibrant residential home supporting young people aged 8-18 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.

Children’s Residential Support Worker 
Location: Warminster
Shifts: Long day shifts and sleep-ins required
39 Hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage participation in activities and promote independence suitable to the young person’s age
  • Maintain a safe, warm, and homely environment
  • Safely manage challenging behaviours with empathy and professionalism
  • Protect and support children and young people’s health, welfare, and well-being
  • Liaise with parents, social workers, and other professionals involved in the young people's care
  • Support young people to develop life skills and confidence
  • Keep up-to-date with individual care plans and communication preferences

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a children’s residential setting or working with young people is preferred
  • Healthcare or social care experience is advantageous
  • Must hold a full UK driver’s license and have access to a car (sleep allowance included)
  • Over the age of 21
  • NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Children & Young People (desirable)
  • Reliable, compassionate, and motivated to support young people on their journey to independence
  • Ability to commute to Warminster
