  • Ensure the safety of all residents and maintain up-to-date knowledge of individual care plans and communication preferences.
  • Support challenging behaviour safely and sympathetically.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, parents, social workers, and other professionals involved in the young people's lives, such as psychologists.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Children’s Residential Support Worker or with young people is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience within healthcare or social care settings is advantageous.
  • Must hold a full UK manual driver’s license, as transportation of young people may be required.
  • Must be over 21 years of age.
  • Ability to commute to Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

Benefits:

  • Fully funded opportunity to complete Level 3 and 4 Children & Young People qualifications.

  • Access to discounts for shopping outlets, restaurants, and cinemas.
  • Comprehensive training package, including ongoing face-to-face training and CPD planning.
  • Opportunities to increase earnings and develop your career.
  • Enhanced disclosure cost coverage.
