Key Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people in their daily activities and interests
- Promote independence and emotional well-being for children with EBD and challenging behaviours
- Attend trips, holidays, and weekend activities to support children’s interests, from climbing to baking
- Ensure the safety and welfare of children by following care plans and guidelines
- Provide emotional and practical support to young people in your care
- Minimise incidents and manage challenging behaviours effectively
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of individual care plans and safety protocols
Requirements:
- A genuine desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
- Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
- Some professional or personal experience in social care or a related setting
- Right to work in the UK
- A driving licence is essential
- Must be over the age of 21
