Location: Sudbury, Suffolk

Salary: £32,090 to £36,516.40

Long day shifts and sleep-ins required

Key Responsibilities:

• Encourage young people to participate in activities and develop independence
• Maintain a homely, friendly environment within the residential setting
• Manage challenging behaviours with patience and professionalism
• Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare
• Support young people's well-being and personal development
• Ensure safety protocols are followed, and care plans are up-to-date
• Develop positive relationships with staff, parents, social workers, and other professionals

Requirements:

• Experience as a Children's Residential Support Worker or with young people is desirable
• Experience in healthcare or social care settings is advantageous
• Full UK driving license and access to a car is essential for transporting young people
• Over the age of 21
• NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Children & Young People (desirable)
• Ability to commute to Sudbury
