Job Description:
A leading specialist provider is seeking a dedicated Children's Residential Support Worker to join a supportive team at a children's home in Usk, Monmouthshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about making a positive impact on young lives. As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering and caring for children aged 8-18 facing Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

Key Responsibilities:
- Encourage young people to participate in activities and take responsibility for their lives, tailored to their age.
- Maintain a homely, friendly environment within the children's home.
- Manage challenging behaviours safely and sympathetically.
- Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare.
- Support children and young people in promoting independence and well-being.
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to care plans, guidelines, and communication methods.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, parents, social workers, and other professionals involved in the young people's lives.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Children’s Residential Support Worker or with young people is desirable but not essential.
- Experience within healthcare or social care settings is advantageous.
- Must hold a full UK manual driver’s license, as transportation of young people may be required.
- Must be over the age of 21 and able to commute to Usk, Monmouthshire.
