Key Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people in their daily activities and interests
- Promote independence and well-being for children with EBD and challenging behaviours
- Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips to support children’s development and enjoyment
- Engage in weekend and evening activities, from climbing to baking, to foster positive experiences
- Protect children from risks to their health and welfare
- Provide emotional and practical support within the home
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of care plans and safety guidelines
- Support behaviour management strategies to minimise incidents and promote positive behaviour
Requirements:
- A genuine desire to support vulnerable children and young people
- Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
- Some professional or personal experience in social care or related fields
- Right to work in the UK
- Driving licence is essential
- Must be over the age of 21
