Shift Pattern: Long day shifts and sleep ins required

This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work with children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Challenging Behaviours, providing essential support and care in a nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people in their daily activities and interests
- Promote independence and emotional well-being for children with EBD and Challenging Behaviours
- Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips to support children’s interests and development
- Engage in weekend and evening activities, from climbing to baking, to enrich the children’s experiences
- Protect children from risks to their health and welfare
- Provide emotional and practical support within the home
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of care plans and safety guidelines
- Support children in managing challenging behaviours and minimising incidents
Requirements:
- A genuine desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
- Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
- Some professional or personal experience in social care or related settings
- Right to work in the UK
- A valid driving licence is essential
- Relevant qualifications are welcome but not mandatory
- Must be over the age of 21
