  • Working effectively as part of a dedicated team, communicating clearly and collaborating to ensure the best outcomes for the children.
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Compassionate and empathetic: Genuinely caring and understanding of the unique needs of children with learning disabilities.

  • Flexible: Able to work a rota that includes evenings, weekends, and potentially sleep-ins (fully paid).

Essential Requirements:

  • Basic IT skills for record keeping.
  • Right to work in the UK.

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent.

What We Offer:

  • 6 months full sick pay followed by 6 months sick pay at 50%
  • 6 weeks' annual leave
  • A competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Comprehensive induction and ongoing training, including specialist training in learning disabilities and positive behaviour support.
  • Opportunities for career development and progression within a supportive organisation.
  • A friendly and collaborative team environment.
  • Regular supervision and support.
  • Generous annual leave allowance.
  •
  • The immense satisfaction of making a real difference to children's lives.

Chris at Vetro has been incredible.

I applied for a role I'd never done before, and not only did he help with my application process, but once I was offered an interview, he spent time ensuring I was sufficiently prepared. He has also made an once-a-week update meeting available to check on my onboarding process. If you're looking for work and support, I'd highly recommend Vetro Recruitment.
