Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential? Do you want to be part of a dedicated team in a welcoming and supportive environment? We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Residential Support Workers to join our team in Woolsthorpe.
Our clients provides a nurturing home for up to three young people aged 5-18 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as Cognition and Learning Needs, and Communication and Interaction Needs. This home is currently rated 'GOOD' by Ofsted in all areas, and they are committed to maintaining high standards of care.
What You'll Do:
As a Residential Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in the daily lives of our young people, helping them develop essential life skills, providing emotional support, and engaging them in enriching activities. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing direct care and support to young people.

Engaging in activities and special events with our young people.

Working collaboratively with a dedicated team.

Participing in handover sessions to ensure seamless care.

Competitive Pay & Benefits:

Hourly Rate: £12.40 to £13.40 per hour

Annual Salary: £25,790 to £27,870 (up to 40 hours per week)

Annual Sleep Allowance: An additional £3,150 to £5,250 (based on 6-10 sleeps per month over 10.5 months)

Sleep-In Rate: £50 per sleep. If required to be on duty after 11 PM for up to 6 hours, you'll be paid your normal hourly rate plus your sleep-in rate.

Typical Rota Pattern:
Our current rota is structured to provide consistent support and work-life balance:

Week 1 & 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday shifts from 8 AM to 11 PM + sleep (if required), followed by a 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM handover the next day.

Week 3: Sunday shift from 8 AM to 11 PM + sleep (if required), followed by a 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM handover the next day.

About You:
You'll be a resilient, empathetic, and dedicated individual with a genuine passion for working with young people. While experience in a residential setting is a plus, we welcome applications from individuals with transferable skills and a strong desire to learn and grow within the care sector. Full training will be provided.
