Salary: £30,060 to £34,488 (including sleep allowance)

Join a leading specialist provider of children’s residential care, supporting young people aged 14-17 in a friendly and stable environment. You’ll play a vital role in helping young people develop socially, emotionally, and behaviourally, all while ensuring they feel safe, cared for, and empowered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate support to young people, promoting their independence and well-being within a therapeutic care environment
- Encourage participation in activities tailored to their age, fostering responsibility and self-esteem
- Ensure the safety of all residents by following individual care plans, guidelines, and communication methods
- Safely manage challenging behaviours, acting sympathetically and maintaining a secure environment
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, parents, social workers, and other professionals involved in the young people's care
- Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare
- Support a warm, homely atmosphere within the residential setting
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Children’s Support Worker, youth worker, or in a similar social care role (desirable)
- Must be a driver, as transportation of young people may be required (Essential)
- Age 22 or over (Essential)
- NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People (desirable)
- Enthusiastic, resilient, and interested in making a measurable difference in young people’s lives
